Transit is a print based on a colour photograph made on the last day of 2012. The shipwreck of the sailing boat was found on the westside of the small peninsula (called “l’Arquet” or “La Pointe Noire”) separating l’Anse de la Couronne Vieille and l’Anse de Beaumaderie in southern France (Bouches-du-Rhône).
Transit II is a print based on a colour photograph made in the middle of the summer of 2016. This work is the sequel of Transit, and shows the same exact spot where three-and-a-half years earlier the shipwreck of a sailing boat was found.
